High Power and Direct Skin Application
The LF2 is a Class 3R autonomous portable laser designed for direct-to-skin application via a secure fastening strap. It features a high-density matrix of 33 circular 650nm lasers arranged in a square, with 3 powerful 808nm lasers at the center for deep therapeutic penetration.
Enhanced Efficiency: This model provides a significantly higher diode density than the LF1, allowing for the treatment of larger surface areas. The 3 central 808nm diodes operate in the non-visible spectrum to ensure optimal tissue depth reach.
The device may warm up slightly during operation; this is not a thermal effect of the laser on the body, but a normal technical characteristic of the high-power electronic circuitry.
Therapeutic Fields of Application
The LF2 is particularly effective for the following clinical conditions:
- Body Pain Management: Cervical pain, back pain, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, muscle and joint pain (knee, lumbar).
- Traumatology: Fibromyalgia, tendonitis, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow.
- Healing and Recovery: Wounds, swelling, sprains, and sports injury rehabilitation.
- Specialized Pathologies: Prostatitis, menstrual cramps, esophagitis, mastitis, and hemorrhoids.
Biostimulation Principle
Cold laser therapy acts on biological processes without damaging tissue. It triggers a cascade of biochemical changes by targeting cytochrome c oxidase within the mitochondria. This process boosts ATP production and reduces oxidative stress, promoting rapid tissue repair and systemic inflammation reduction.
Recommendations and Safety
EYE SAFETY: Never look directly into the laser beam. Eye protection is mandatory to prevent retinal damage.
- Operating Cycles: Standard sessions last 15 minutes. It is recommended to allow a 20 to 30-minute cooling break between uses to protect the internal electronics.
- Contraindications: Not recommended for pregnant women or individuals suffering from severe bleeding disorders or recent cerebral hemorrhage.
- Precautions: Do not apply directly over cancerous lesions (outside of supervised post-radiotherapy protocols). If heart rate acceleration occurs, reduce session duration.
