Générateur d'hydrogène

Introduction:

Shock wave treatment was once reserved for high-level athletes to allow them to recover more quickly from the pain and tension caused by their activity. Given the price of these devices, only professionals could afford them. On the technical level, there are 2 types of solutions for the activator: a pneumatic principle and currently an electromagnetic principle which tends to replace it. The 2 are equal, but the electromagnetic ones cost less and can do just as well with almost as much durability. The tires remain the prerogative of the top of the range to justify a high price.

Principes:

A shock wave is defined as a wave with a rapid increase in pressure increase in a very short time, then having a gradual decrease in pressure with a small phase of negative pressure. The head should be positioned over the affected areas that are the source of chronic pain. The influence of the shock waves causes the dissolution of calcium deposits and leads to better vascularization. The side effect is the relief of pain by dispersing the tensions that are the source of it.

The shock wave has the following effects:

  • Cellular: increase in the transmittance of the cell membrane by improving the activity of ion channels, stimulation of cell division, stimulation of the production of cellular cytokines.
  • On tendons and muscles: improvement in blood circulation, increase in the concentration of growth factor beta 1, chemotactic and mitogenic effect on osteoblasts.
  • Effect on the nitrogen oxide system: Bone healing and remodeling.
  • Improved microcirculation and metabolism.
  • Dissolution of calcified fibroblasts.
  • Helps in the production of collagen.
  • Reduction of tissue tension.
  • Analgesic effect.

Advantages:

  • The application of shock waves on the areas removes the stress from the affected tissues.
  • No pharmaceuticals used to achieve a result.
  • Avoid unnecessary surgery in some cases.
  • For some indications, such as Tennis Elbow, there is really no other effective treatment.

Contraindications:

  • Do not apply to certain tissues: Eyes and surrounding area, heart, liver, or spine directly.
  • Blood disorders, clotting problems or use of blood thinners. People with hemorrhagic disease, trauma or bleeding.
  • Not applicable on prostheses, areas near large blood vessels, tumors, hematomas, or the head.
  • People with heart disease: arrhythmia, high blood pressure, wearing a pacemaker or having cardiovascular or cerebral-vascular pathologies.
  • Patients with acute inflammation, asthma, deep vein thrombosis or cancer.
  • Pregnant or menstruating women.
  • Patient with skin inflammation or edema.
  • People with abnormal immune systems, numbness or insensitivity to heat.
  • Drunk or highly feverish persons.
  • On recent scars or on parts that have undergone plastic surgery.

Use:

A touch screen makes it possible to select the parameters corresponding to the area to be treated. The device is delivered with 4 tools to best adapt to the area to be treated and a shock absorber which is placed over the tools. The parameters as well as the tool to be aimed at the working head are given for information only and can be modified at will.

The settings:

  • Current: indicates the number of hits for the session. The reset button allows you to return to the initial value to redo a second session.
  • Frequency: indicates the number of pulses per second (from 1 to 16 Hz)
  • Energy: corresponds to the force of the action of the shock wave expressed in joules (from 60 to 185 mj)
